I have been a fan of eBay for years -- back when it all began! This is my go-to site for unique finds for holiday gifts, as well as a way to sell unwanted items laying around the house. And, with the holidays fast approaching, I have already begun putting aside items I plan to list in the coming days, in hopes to make some extra money to pay for holiday gifts this season. Let's see if I can manage to not spend all the money I earn on eBay finds?
Are you a fan of eBay for selling or buying? Did you know about the new eBay, which can be downloaded and used on iPad, iPhone and iPod devices? I downloaded and have been using the FREEeBay Mobile for iPad app, and don't know how I ever lived without it.
As a busy mom of two young children, I don't have the luxury anymore of sitting down and tying away at the laptop. Once the girls she the laptop come out, they are rushing over to my side, just to push the buttons or pull the screen back. So, I rely on my iPad during the daytime to check emails and now list eBay items online for sale, as well as monitor a few items I have bid on that would make for great holiday gifts. I love being able to take a snapshot of the item I am selling, or pull an image from another sold listing, and within a matter of minutes, have my listing go live for all to bid on. Without this easy to use app, I would be looking at the pile of items I wanted to sell on eBay, but didn't have the time or ability to list while the girls were up.
So, if you are looking for a simpler and easy way to sell and check listings on eBay, then you need to download the eBay mobile app today. You will be glad you did!
And, here are just a few tips that will make using and listing with app so much easier:
2) Set up the My eBay home page to fit your needs. The new "home" screen automatically includes your eBay Buying, Watching, and Selling activity. But, you can customize this home screen to fit your needs. Add or delete, to make quick viewing easy and tailored to your needs.
3) Use Mobile Checkout, linked to your PayPal account. I have found that by linking my PayPal account to my eBay account, checkout is quick and easy. And, with eBay's and PayPal's buyer protection programs, I don't have to worry if a problem comes up with an item I purchased or sold.
4) Sign up to earn eBay Bucks. If you are a frequent purchaser on eBay, then you will want to enroll in the FREE eBay Bucks program, where you will earn free eBay Bucks (where available) from purchases made, that can be used towards future purchases. At the end of each month, you accumulate eBay Bucks that you can apply to your next order, helping you to save on items you want. How great is that? And, with this new mobile app, you can monitor your eBay Bucks whenever and wherever you want!
5) If you have an older iPad, which doesn't allow you to take photos, not to worry, as you can add photos to your photo library, and then use the mobile app to complete your listing. I find that snapping photos with my phone and then emailing them to me, makes it easy, so that when I do find time to pull up the eBay Mobile app on the iPad, I can move the emailed photos to my photo library, and I am ready to list.
So, what are you waiting for? Head on over to iTunes today and download the FREE eBay Mobile app for your mobile platform.
