My Thoughts:
This sample came in handy during the recent power outages, as well as while Arabella has been sick. Now that Arabella is transitioning to more solids foods and spending more time snacking and eating with her big sister, I find that serving her food in pouches makes life so much easier. I fell in love with pouched foods when I was transitioning Savannah to table foods and looking for an easier way to transport food on the go. I hated having to fill the cooler bags with baby food jar, spoons, etc., only to have the jars leak or break during transport, or forget the spoon to feed her with. But, with the pouches, I could fill them with her favorite purees or homemade baby food, and store them easier. Then, when Savannah got hungry, I simply had to screw off the top and hand the pouch to her. She was able to hold the pouch and feed herself. And, when I was in rush and couldn't prepare homemade purees and foods, I found myself buying pouched foods and snacks over the jars, just for convenience, but spending a fortune in the process.
So, now that I have two young children at home who are eating similar foods, I rely more on pouches when it comes to serving them snacks during the daytime. Not only can they walk around and hold and snack on the pouches, but clean up is a breeze. No more cleaning up messes around the dining room table 3-4 times a day. But, Arabella is still a little young to understand not to squeeze to hard, and also prefers some of her foods pureed. So, I was looking for a pouch that I could fill and reuse, and that would also prevent her from squeezing too hard and getting the food all over the place. This is when I stumbled across the Babypote from BÉABA
I have always been a fan of BÉABA products, especially their bottle warmer, which I received as a shower gift for Savannah. But, I didn't know they had come out with the Babypote until I received a sample to review. And, as soon as I tried it for the first time, I fell in love with it. Not only was it easy to fill with baby food, but Arabella was not able to squeeze too hard and get it everywhere. It was wide enough for her little hands to hold better, and she liked sucking the food out of the top. Even while sick, she couldn't resist posing for the camera, to show off her love for the Babypote from BÉABA.
If your little one is ready for baby food pouches and you don't wan to spent the $1.50+ per pouch you see at the stores, this Babypote from BÉABA will provide you with the ease and convenience that you would get from these prepared pouches, but let you save money and fill with your own homemade baby foods. Now, when I am looking for a baby shower gift to give friends and family, I will make sure to include 1-2 of these Babypotes from BÉABA with my gift. It really has made traveling with food and snacks on the go so much easier, as well as giving Arabella a snack pouch alongside her sister, without the need to walk around next to her with a wash cloth. :-)
