Febreze Seasons Sweepstakes: Best of Holidays Past

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only 12 days away, and then Christmas follows right behind with only 44 days.  As we celebrated our daughter Arabella's first birthday today, we are reminded about how important family is, even if they are hundreds of miles away.  My husband's father lives in their home country of El Salvador and has never seen his grandchildren.  We hope that one day he will be able to visit and see the girls.  But, in the meantime we share photos and Skype calls to share memories and show how big the girls are getting.  They truly are growing up fast.  I can't believe that a year has already gone by already.  Where did the time go?

So, as we get ready for Thanksgiving dinner, I make a point to stock the house with apple and pumpkin scented candles and sprays.  These are my father-in-law's favorite candle scents and would burn them all the time when we went to visit when he lived in the states.  Whenever my husband or I smell these fall scents, we can't help but think of him, and hope that we will see him in person soon.
