My
Thoughts:
We have been hit with the flu and a nasty head cold in our
house, so we have been spending our time laying around and watching movies,
including this new release from Scholastic Storybook Treasures. This DVD
collection contains three DVDs (which can be bought individually), Robot Zot!, Too
Many Toys, and The Curious Garden. Even though we enjoyed each DVD, I found
Savannah enjoying the rhyming stories. She mustered up energy to sway in
place on the living room floor, as she watched Stars! Stars! Stars!.
I have been a fan of
Scholastic for years, even before I welcomed my daughters. I would buy
books and DVDs to give to family and friends for the holidays and
birthdays. And, now that I have children of my own, I love being able to
have a collection of educational and entertaining DVDs to share with
them. The stories are easy to understand, and with the beautiful and
unique illustrations/animations, young children will stay engaged and love
pointing out things on the television screens. And, best of all, all
stories will appeal to both boys and girls, making family movie night fun for
all.
So, if you love Scholastic Storybook Treasures collections as much as my family
does, then you will want to include
this DVD to your collection. It will provide hours of educational
enjoyment, and have your children clapping and getting into each episode.
I am so impressed with the words my daughter picks up from these stories and
can add to her vocabulary. This and other DVDs are well worth the
investment! :-)
Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this DVD from the vendor in
order to write up an honest review. The views above are mine and mine
alone.
