Daytime Emmy in Outstanding Achievement in Animation.
My Thoughts:
My husband turned me on to this animated series back in college, when he was going through a cartoon phase. He loved watching all the popular shows including this one, and would record them when he was at work, to watch over the weekends. So, when I received this new DVD set, you can only imagine how excited he was. Even though he has already seen the 13 adventures included on the DVDs, he couldn't wait to sit down and watch them in the evening, after the girls were in bed.
Unfortunately, we have been up most nights this week, as our house was hit by the nasty head cold that is going around. So, instead of watching in the evenings, he ended up watching an episode at a time before he went to work in the mornings. I was in bed, so didn't get a chance to watch them with him. But, when he would call and check on the girls and I at lunch time, he would fill me in on what he saw and how great this animated series was.
He still has a few episodes left to watch, but I guarantee come Tuesday that they will all be watched -- some maybe a second time. Nickelodeon fans, cartoon fans and fans of this popular 90's show will definitely want to add this new 2-disc set to their collection.
