My Thoughts:
I have always been intrigued with mediums and their ability to connect with those who have passed on to the other side. Can they really connect with our loved ones? Or is it a hoax? I haven't sat down with one, as I don't know how I would feel if they did in fact connect with family members who have left us too soon. But, I have read about and seen people on television who have been able to connect with loved ones, and each and every story is very meaning. In this new Chicken Soup for the Soul book, 101 miraculous stories of connecting with loved ones from the other side are shared.
I really found myself getting into this book, and at times found the hair on my arms standing up, as I read how people connected with or had traveled to the other side in dreams, etc. only to return and tell their stories. With these and other stories it is hard to think that the powerful connection we have with loved ones dies once they leave us. If you have ever questioned connecting with others, or if there really is a Heaven, then this book is worth reading. I will definitely read this book again, and may even get up the guts to sit down with a medium one day and connect with those I loved so dear, who left us too see, and see how they are doing. I know they are at peace and watching over us, but still a part of me wants to have someone tell me through a relayed message that they are at peace and happy.
