Mommy and Me Time with Polly Pocket (Review)

What a great time Savannah and I had this past weekend spending quality 'Mommy and Me' time together.  While Arabella was sleeping, we spent over an hour playing with her new Polly Pocket Hangout House and Stick N Play Room Assortment toys, that were recently sent to us from Mom Central Consulting for review.  I don't remember playing with Polly Pocket toys as a child, so it was nice to experience this popular brand with Savannah.  

I don't know why they have to make it so difficult to take the toys out of the packaging.  I think it took me over 10 minutes just to pry each little piece out of the plastic packaging.  But, when I had the playset and its accessories out, along with the stick n play room assortment, which snapped onto the main playset, we were having so much fun.  I have never seen toys that used suction cups on the bottoms of the toys and dolls shoes to stick them to playsets.  With young children, this is great, as they get frustrated easily when the dolls don't stand up on their own, or the accessories don't stay put.  

Savannah had a blast stocking the refrigerator with the baked sweets, and then making the cat and dog take the elevator to the different floors.  She also had fun having the two Polly Pocket dolls swing on the swing that attached the underside of the bed/bathroom floor.  When she wasn't giving the dolls a bath, she liked that she could flip the bath over and it became an instant bed.  How cool!  If not they had things like this for people, I would have a lot more space in the house. :-)

My husband walked in on us, and was impressed at how Savannah was pretend playing and having so much fun.  It is nice to see her being so creative at such an early age.  When she put the dolls to bed, she kissed them and said, "Night, Night."  How cute!

I will definitely be buying additional stick n play room assortments that simply attach to the main hangout playset and add more rooms to this fun toy.  Having never played with Polly Pocket toys prior to this review opportunity, I had no idea that they would offer hours of enjoyment for both Savannah and I.  So glad I was able to review them, as Savannah has a new favorite toy that just her and I can play with, when her little sister goes to bed.  And, when I pull the playset out, she feels like a big girl, with a big girl toy.  And, the toy and accessories store away easier. With the suction cups to hold the dolls and accessories to the playset, I don't have to worry about losing pieces, as they stay put once you suction them.

So, if you have young girls at home, or need to give a gift for an upcoming birthday party for a young family member or friend, why not surprise them with the Polly Pocket Hangout House.  They will have a blast playing with this playset.  I know as it kept Savannah busy for hours this weekend and early this AM.
