One of my favorite snacks is pretzels. I love them so much, that I have planned impromptu vacations to Philadelphia and NY just to pick up some of my favorites from theses places. Yes, I know, kind of extreme, but there is just something about them --hot or cold -- that tastes so good. So, when I stumbled across Pretzilla and saw that they offered soft pretzel buns, I just had to try their products and see how they compared to other pretzels I have tried in the past.
I can only remember one other occasion where I bought a so-called soft pretzel bun, but was disappointed to find that it lacked that pretzel taste you would have expected for a soft-pretzel roll. Within 3 days of requesting a sample, a box arrived at my door, with Pretzilla's soft pretzel burger buns, sausage buns and mini buns. Just looking at them, I knew that they would taste great, as they had the dark pretzel color I love. Just look at the burger bun up close --
Yum!!! |
I couldn't wait until dinner to try their burger buns, so I first tried one cold and then heated. It was hard to say which was better, as they both tasted great and had that delicious pretzel flavor. If you prefer a heated pretzel, you can use the conventional oven, toaster oven or microwave to warm Pretzilla buns.
It was so hard to stay out of the kitchen where the Pretzilla buns were, as I was tempted each and every time to grab one. I can't lie, I ended up picking on the mini buns over a two day period. I did, however, save the remaining sausage buns and burger buns to use for sandwiches. We had cheeseburgers and pulled pork sandwiches. Wow, I couldn't believe how much better the burgers tasted, paired with the soft pretzel flavor. It was like I was having a meal and snack all in one. Usually my husband and I would have 2 burgers each for dinner, but the Pretzilla buns, from the Miller Baking Company, really did fill you up, in a good way. :-)
If I hadn't been looking for mail order soft-pretzel mail order companies, I would not have stumbled across the Pretzilla website. And, knowing that they offer these buns in both stores and online, I will never be without my soft-pretzel buns for now on.
If you love soft pretzels or like to try different burger buns (especially for your upcoming Labor Day cookouts), why not give Pretzilla buns a try? You will not be disappointed. They truly are out of this world!!!
