My Thoughts:

Fist bump, hand shake or high way -- whatever way you choose to greet you friend who is also wearing a text band, will instantly transfer text message to your watch.  Even though my daughters are small, I tried these cool new text bands out with both my husband and nephew.  We were amazed at how the messages instantly showed up on the watch, once you tapped them with the other text band.  And, with a storage space of 24 messages, you don't have to worry about reading and then erasing a message to make room for another one. Learning how to use these fun text bands was easy, as my 6 year old nephew quickly figured it out.  After spending hours using these text bands, which are only available at Hallmark Gold Crown stores, I can see that they will be an instant hit with young children, and will be a must have item when shopping for back to school items.  As a parent, the best part about these text band is that you don't have to worry about paying texting fees for all the messages your child sends.  I have friends who, unless they switch to an unlimited texting plan, have spent $50+ dollars a month, as a result of their child's texting habit.  And, with only 10 spaces for a message, you don't have to worry about them sending long, drawn out messages.
