Have you ever seen Childrens Hospital on the Adult Swim channel?  If not, you are really missing out on a hilarious show.  My husband and I stumbled across it last year, and have been playing catch up with previous seasons.  What a great way to unwind after crazy day with kids.  Like they say, laughter is the best medicine!

I first tuned it as I like medical dramas/shows and thought this would be one to watch.  As soon as I saws clowns I knew it wasn't a drama. :-)  This show had me in stitches!  I couldn't get over the excuses the doctors and staff were given to patients -- like at Childrens Hospital, doctors obviously don’t work on Saturdays! As you can imagine, this can leave the doctors and patients alike in some pretty sticky situations. Have you ever given a wacky excuse as to why a particular job could not be completed. Who were you trying to convince? Did it work?   For me, I remember telling one of my bosses that I had to pick my child up from school because the nurse called and said they work sick -- the funny part about this was that I didn't have kids at the time. Goes to show that the boss didn't care about me or know that I didn't have kids. Hey, but I took an unexpected and much needed long weekend vacation.
