My Thoughts:
Every afternoon Savannah either catches Caillou on Sprout or PBS Kids, depending upon when she gets up from her afternoon nap. We can't go a day without watching this lovable 4 year old, as he experiences new things and go on fun adventures. Caillou has a vivid imagination, which I think is one of the reasons my daughter, and many other toddlers are in love with this hit animated series. Savannah especially loves it when Caillou plays with his trunks and then is transformed into a scene where he is driving the truck. Her eyes light up in wonderment, and you can't get her take them off Caillou, until he returns to reality. Ahh, the imagination of a child. So pure and innocent.
This new DVD was a joy to watch with Savannah, and provided four days worth of viewing time, as I spread the 4 episodes included on this DVD, over the past four days. In addition to Caillou's imagination, each episode shares a lesson, which you can discuss further with your young child. Including in this DVD, children will learn how to overcome fears, help others, learn patience and develop a creative side. Out of the four episodes, Savannah enjoyed the last one the most, as it was about airplanes, as she recently discovered these when Daddy took her to the airport diner over the weekend, and she got to see the airplanes take off and land.
If your little one is a fan of Caillou, why not surprise them with this new DVD today? It is a great way to spend time with your child, while watching these 20-25 minutes episodes together.
