How do you as a mom unwind after a crazy day with the kids? For me, I find brainteasers and writing to be relaxing. So, when I was given the opportunity to review another Thinkfun product, I couldn't wait to try it out. I was sent UnHinged, and can't put down this hinged puzzle brainteaser. It has been a long time since I came across a product that really gets me addicted, like Unhinged has. A few of my review posts have been delayed because I found time slipping away from me, as I played with this fun and challenging brainteaser.

With 40 puzzles, ranging from beginner to expert, UnHinged will keep you and your family members busy for hours. My husband wanted to give it a try after seeing me fiddling around with this puzzle. And, now, whenever he finds himself with a free moment, he picks UnHinged up and tries to solve one of the expert level puzzles. I tried doing this when I first opened the package, thinking I could solve it quickly. Boy, was I mistaken. The expert puzzles really rattle your brain, and you can find yourself spending hours (if you are lucky enough to solve) trying to solve the puzzle. After my failed attempt at solving an expert level puzzle, I began at the beginning and have successfully completed 24 of the 40 puzzles in a week's time. On occasion, I have even found myself thinking about this game, and how to solve some of the puzzles I have found myself caught up on. Sad, huh? Not really...just goes to show you that this is a fun game, that adults and children 8+ will enjoy playing. As a busy mom on the go, I love how compact this brainteaser is. I can through it in the diaper bag and bring along and pull out when I am waiting at the doctors, or running other errands. Even though the puzzles are mind-bending, UnHinged is so much fun to play.

ReplyDeleteI think this is a great game for the kids being on summer break. I know we hear so often how they are bored. I think my 9 year old twin granddaughters would enjoy this game.
