Let Your Child Be a Star in Their Own Storybook, Thanks to Paper Hat Press (Review)

Do you like to create personalized books for your children?  It wasn't until I had Savannah that I knew that these types of books existed.  But, since her arrival, I have reviewed a few different companies who offer this service.  However, Paper Hat Press is different from the ones I have reviewed, in that they let you personalize not only the story with your child's name, but you can customize the character in the book to look like your child.  Paper Hat Press lets you choose skin tone, eye color, hair color, hair length, etc. for both their boy and girl characters.  

How neat, huh?  I thought so.  As far as customizing your storybook character, personalizing the book and placing your order, this can be done in less than 10 minutes.  The only difficult part of the process for me, was choosing the book I wanted to create for Savannah.  It was a toss up between their Little Sparkle book and their Who's Birthday is It?  With Savannah's birthday in July I was leaning towards the birthday book, but then decided on Little Sparkle, as I could read this book to her year round, and not just around her birthday. 

 

It didn't take long to receive, which was great.  In the past, other personalized books took 3-4 weeks to receive.  Savannah saw me opening the package, and wanted to have me read the book to her.  She didn't know it was about her, which made for a great surprise.  So, after I put her little sister down for a nap, we snuggled on the couch to read this book.  When she heard her name, she got so excited and smiled from ear to ear.  Then, she kept pointing to the little girl in the book, saying "Me!"  The story itself is sweet, in which it lets your little fairy princess now how much she is loved and how she sparkles and lights up your life.  Just look at the amazing illustrations from this book:  

Aren't they great?  Savannah and I have spent countless hours since receiving this book, just looking at the beautiful illustrations.  They pull you in and really make you feel like you sparkle.  This book has become a keepsake that will be cherished for years to come. And, I can't wait to create a book for Arabella.  Maybe I will try out their birthday book.
