"Keep it Cool with Daily's" -- Review and Giveaway

The Daily’s pouch is the perfect summer beverage. I found this out over the weekend, when I had family and friends over to celebrate Father's Day.  We had a cookout, played lawn games and swam in the pool during the day, and then winded down with good conversation, roasting of s'mores and sipping of Daily's frozen drinks, as we sat around the fire pit, I was sent to review for Father's Day.  I couldn't have asked for a better day.  And, surprisingly the weather held up, without any rain. We have had a wash oat here the past week and half, with rain every day.  So, it nice was to finally get outdoors and enjoy time with family and friends.

This was the first time I had purchased and tried Daily's frozen pouches.  I saw them in the stores before, but didn't know how good they would be.  But, I was given the opportunity to review and thought what better time than our annual cookout to get honest feedback from others on this product.  So, I stocked a freezer chest full of these pouches, and surprised everyone in the evening.  What I loved most about these pouches was how easy it was to create frozen drinks and serve.  In the past, my husband and I would man the bar, and serve up and grind ice, just to make a handful of drinks.  By the time we were done serving guests, we didn't want a drink.  But, with the Daily's Original Frozen Pouches, all you have to do is freeze, squish the contents in the pouch when ready to use, and then cut the top off and pout into a glass or mug.  It is that easy!  And, cleanup is a breeze.  I loved being able to offer 6 types of frozen drinks for guests.  When I ran the list of flavors, their eyes lit up, and a few asked how we would be able to serve up all these.  I showed them the pouches, which many had seen but never tried.

After the frozen drinks were poured, we all sat around the fire and sampled Daily's.  Everyone agreed that the quality of the drinks were great and spot on, as if they had ordered from a bar.  Piña Colada and Margarita were the two most popular drinks, with the Strawberry Daiquiri pouch in close third. Guests also loved how the ice was not in chunks like some get when not blended up well.  And, yes, you can taste the alcohol, which is a huge plus for adults. :-)  By the end of the night, the cooler chest was empty and everyone was ready to call it a night.  As people left, they all told my husband and I the same thing -- "Drinks at the Ramirez house next time."  I guess these frozen pouches from Daily's were a hit.  I'll have to make sure I stock up and keep some in the freezer for future cookouts at our house this summer. :-)
