My Thoughts:
This is one DVD I couldn't wait to share with Savannah, as she just loves Pocoyo, Elly and Pato. We stumbled across this animated series a few months ago, and in no time, Savannah is all caught up with the previously aired episodes thanks to Netflix. So, when I heard about this new DVD release, I couldn't wait to see her reaction, as this was her first Pocoyo DVD, and will surely not be her last. As soon as I pulled the DVD out of the package, she was jumping for joy, yelling and pointing to Pocoyo on the front cover. Over the course of the weekend, we watched the entire 90 minutes. My husband loved that this disc came with the Spanish language option, as he is working on teaching Savannah basic Spanish, now that she is learning how to talk.
If you haven't seen this animated series on television, I suggest you do. Even though the main character, Pocoyo doesn't talk that much, children will love watching this little boy interact with his animals friends. Savannah just loves Elly. The episodes, which have aired on Nick Jr., offer up fun and hilarious antics that Pocoyo and his friends get into. Tag along as they create their own Olympics, create a magic show and go on a scary slide. Out of all the episodes, Savannah loved the Dirty Dog and Big Scary Slide ones. In addition to these short animated episodes, Savannah loves singing/humming the theme song. If you watch this show with your little, I bet you hum along to, as do I. So, what are you waiting for, why not surprise your Pocoyo fan with this new DVD today.
Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this DVD from the vendor, in order to write up an honest review. The views above are mine and mine alone.
