My Thoughts:
We love game nights in our house, as it is a great way to not only unwind after a crazy work week, but is also a great way to spend time with family and friends. And, with the new tech gadgets out there, it is only fitting for games to pop up that can used with your iPad. The folks at Discovery Bay Games have a great game, Duo Pop, that connects through your Wi-Fi, and is compatible with your iPad. You can download a handful of FREE apps that go along with this game, including Guesstimation – Duo, Highlights Hidden Pictures Countdown, and Saturday Night Live – The Game, to name a few. In addition to these FREE game apps, you can also buy additional questions through these apps, as you play the games and want to have new or more challenging questions available to you.
Even though my daughters are too young to play this game with us, my husband and I have been playing this game together during our weekly in-house date nights lately (as the girls and I have been fighting off the nasty stomach bug going around), as well as recently played with my parents who came to visit. We had a blast, and couldn't stop laughing and chatting about the game. The object of the game is to push your buzzer first and answer the question correctly. The person who answers the most questions, wins. It is that easy!! But, the questions will definitely stump you! My husband and I loved playing the Saturday Night Live Trivia game, as we both love the show. Even though we are avid viewers of SNL, we found many of the questions challenging, and would stall in buzzing in to answer, as we had to think about the question and its answer.
I can't wait to see what other game apps become available for the Duo Pop from Discovery Bay Games, so that I can download and play with family and friends.
