Father's Day Gift Giving Guide -- Angelic Gourmet -- Handmade Creations to Satisfy Anyone's Sweet Tooth (Review)

If you follow my blog, then you know how much my husband and I love chocolate, sweets of all kinds, including pretzels, and hot beverages like coffee, teas and hot chocolate.  So, it was only fitting to highlight a vendor who could satisfy our sweet tooth for each of these cravings -- enter, Angelic Gourmet, a small women run business in upstate New York.  With handmade confectionery's and creations like chocolate covered pretzel sticks, wine infused popcorn (yes, I said wine infused) and chocolate dipped spoons, you are bound to find something, Angelic Gourmet will have going back and ordering seconds, and will become your go-to place for gourmet treats for holidays and birthday gifts.

With this review, I am going to let the photos do most of the talking, as just thinking about the tasty treats I was sent from Angelic Gourmet is making my mouth water.  So, I don't want to drool all over the keys, while trying to type. :-) 

See what I mean -- everything looks so good.  If only you could reach into your computer and grab the chocolate covered pretzel stick?  Or, better yet, cross the street and visit Angelic Gourmet in New York, to get your daily fix.  Unfortunately we can't do either, so we have to order online and wait patiently to receive these sweet treats in the mail.  When I received my samples to try, I seriously thought about stashing them and keeping them for myself.  But, I really wanted to get my husband's take on the chocolate dipped spoons and wine-infused popcorn.  He isn't a fan of pretzels, so I was able to take and enjoy these for myself.  I ended up having the chocolate dipped pretzel as a mid-morning treat one day, and then as a dessert treat the rest of the time.  I loved the presentation of each hand-dipped salty snack, and enjoyed pairing it in the evening with a nice glass of wine. Mmm :-)  Mommy time was great!!!

As for the popcorn and chocolate dipped spoons, I sampled these with my husband.  We used the different flavored spoons in our coffees and hot chocolate. What a nice chocolaty treat it lent our hot beverages.  It was so hard to not just eat the chocolate right off the spoon.  My husband liked the chocolate hazelnut dipped spoon, while my favorite was the vanilla cream.  Having never tried wine-infused popcorn, we didn't have any expectations, but were eager to see how it tasted.  Wow, why didn't we try this before.  What a fun adult treat to enjoy during movie night.  Instead of popping popcorn, we sampled the different popcorn bags sent to us.  We both agreed that we like the Chardonnay popcorn the best.  

So, as you can see from the above photos and my thoughts, Angelic Gourmet products are out of this world, and definitely worth checking out for Father's Day, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday, other major holidays, or just to satisfy your sweet tooth.  Once you try these handmade products, you will see why so many people are return customers!!!
