Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! There’s a Party in My City! and It’s Okay Try Again Board Book Review

Do you have Yo Gabba Gabba! fans in your house?  Well, Savannah goes crazy every time this show is on.  With the high energy dancing, Savannah walks away from each viewing, not only tired from moving and grooving too much, but also learns new dance moves, that are cute so see her do.  So, when I found out NCircle was releasing Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! There’s a Party in My City!”, I couldn't wait to share it with Savannah.  You don't know how hard it was to not give this DVD to her prior to Easter, but I forced myself to hold off.  And, when she woke up on Easter morning, she went crazy and broke out in a little dance, as she clutched this DVD and the Yo Gabba Gabba It’s Okay Tray Again board bookOnce she reached the living room, she asked to watch this 60 minute live performance.  As my husband sat on the couch, he couldn't believe how these creatures get her to be so active and lively.  This was the first time he saw Yo Gabba Gabba, so I wasn't sure what he would think out it.  When the DVD was over, I asked him what he thought, and he said, "It was alright.  I could see Savannah enjoyed it."  Don't tell him, but I caught him a few times tapping his feet to the catchy song and dance numbers.  Savannah, on the other hand, couldn't stop clapping once the DVD was over, and kept saying, "Again, Again!.

As for the It’s Okay Try Again board book, I read this to her Easter night, and over a dozen times since.  Savannah loves seeing  Brobee, Toodee, Foofa, Plex and Muno on each page.  Even though she is too young to understand the lesson the book is relaying to young children, I know that when she gets a little older, it is definitely a book I will be sharing with her.  It does a great job in showing that perservance and not giving up on something, will pay off, as it is okay to try again.
