I was excited to be apart of this book tour blog hop, to let my mom, who is now a grandmother to 3 granddaughters (2 from me, and 1 from my oldest brother), read and share her thoughts on this book.  Below is her personal review after reading this book.

"I just finished reading "How to be the Perfect Grandma" by Bryna Nelson Paston.  This we a page turner. Once I began the book I couldn't put it down.  I smiled and chuckled through the whole book.  Being a new grandmother myself I found I could relate to a lot of Bryna's experiences.  When I heard my daughter and daughter-in-law were expecting, I was elated.  I took for granted that my years of raising and nurturing my own children had prepared me for what was to come.  We learn that it's a new generation, with their own ideas on parenting and our ways were outdated, regardless of on the job experience. I don't want to give too much away, but any expecting "Grandma" should really read this book.  It will prepare you for your new title and role. This would be a great gift for Mother's Day, or for a friend to give a friend to and expectant Grandmother."

As you can see, she thoroughly enjoyed this book, and has since passed it around to a few of her friends, who also recently became Grandma's.  And, their opinion of the book follows suit with my Mom's, with two thumbs up.  If you are Grandma or know someone who is, why not pick them up a copy of this book today.  This book would make for a great Mother's Day gift, or gift for a new or soon-to-be Grandma.  If you get a chance to read this book, I would love to hear your thoughts on it.  And, as the books continues to be passed around through my Mom's circle of friends, I can't wait to hear what everyone thinks of it.
