My Thoughts:

I remember having these books read to me as a child, and they were also one of the first books I read as a beginner reader.  Now that I have two young daughters of my own, I was excited to see they have a Little Critter by Mercer Mayer app that I can share with them.  Savannah is into her Dad's iPad, and loves playing with new apps.  So, I couldn't wait to see her reaction, when we spent "Mommy and Me" time together these past few days and read and had read to us, Little Critter stories.  Savannah loves tapping on the illustrations and having the words spoken in regards to what she touched.  This is a great feature, which I know will help boost her vocabulary.  Since we began enjoying this app a few days ago, she is already saying water, potty, baby, etc.

If you are a fan of Mercer Mayer's Little Critter, you will love this illustrated app, which takes illustrations straight from the classic storybooks and brings them to life. With ten books in one app, you and your child will be entertained for hours.  And, when you are done hearing or reading the stories, don't forget tot play the fun mini-game.  Savannah had a blast trying to find the creature.  And, this evening, Savannah chose to have a couple Little Critter stories read to her through the "auto play" mode.  You should have saw her face when the pages turned like magic. This is definitely an app that will be enjoyed over and over again.

  1. My kids love these books and we have a computer game for it too. This sounds like something that would be a great app to have. I just wish it was a little cheaper! Thanks for the review!
