My Thoughts:
Who doesn't like cruising around with their cat as shotgun? Well, Brownie sure does! And, this story follows Brownie and Pearl as they take to the streets, delivering the mail. It is not until they arrive home that Pearl is reluctant to get out of the car. In the end, the only way to get Pearl out of the car is through coaxing with a takeout dinner fit for a cat. This easy-to-read book is perfect for little ones with short attention spans, as well as those learning how to read. Children can get the gist of the text just by looking at the beautiful illustrations. All the illustrations in this book are colorful and eye catching. The story of Brownie and Pearl is brought to life through these vivid illustrations, done by Brian Biggs.
