Board Book
Summary:
NEW IN BOARD!
“When signs of spring are in the air, we look for babies everywhere!”
Joy N. Hulme and Dan Andreasen, who created the beautiful Stable in Bethlehem, now capture the spirit of a holiday and a season--with a counting concept worked right in. From one newborn foal walking on wobbly legs and five open-billed nestlings eager for food to 11 children playing in the park and 12 church bells ringing, this lovely board book celebrates spring, Easter, and new life. Hulme's gentle rhyme and Andreasen's softly hued, charming pictures work in perfect harmony, and the adorable bunnies, fuzzy yellow chicks, and frolicking lambs will enchant children.

My Thoughts:
I am loving this cute springtime board boo, which not only introduces little ones to counting, but also shares the arrival of new farm animals. This easy to read board book is beautifully illustrated and will be a welcome addition to your Easter and springtime reading collection. Since sharing this book with Savannah, she now points to animals when we visit farms and zoos and can say a few of their names. And, her counting has improved. She loves to point and count each of the animals, as we flip through this adorable book.
About the Author and Illustrator:

Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this book by the publisher in order to write up an honest review. The views above are mine and mine alone.
