Being a new mom, I loved reviewing the Baby Gift Box of chocolate from Martine's Chocolates, not only because it was chocolate, but because of the cute baby designs.  This custom-made box contained 9 baby-themed chocolates, which consisted of a rocking horse, baby carriage, single bootie, pair of booties, a diaper pin and a rattle.  How cute, huh?  This picture doesn't do this chocolate justice, as up close these are so adorable.  At first, I didn't want to eat these chocolate bites, but needing to know how they tasted, I had to :-)

So, how did the chocolate taste, you ask?  Divine!  I have been sampling a lot of chocolate lately from my recent Valentine's Day gift guide, and now for my Easter Gift Guide coming soon, so I can tell you when I taste good chocolate.  And, this chocolate from Martine's Chocolates stands out amongst the rest, for its fresh and creamy taste.  The chocolate melts in mouth, releasing all deliciousness one would expect from fine chocolate.  I could tell that this chocolate was made with care, and only the finest ingredients, after the first bite.  Even though I didn't want to eat the chocolate in the beginning, it was hard to stop after trying the first piece.  My husband walked in on me sampling the chocolates and asked for one.  At first, I didn't want to share, but, I also wanted to hear what someone else thought about the quality of Martine's Chocolates.  He first looked at the design and thought the rocking horse was cute.  The detail was spot on, and the chocolate shined (a sign he said of freshness -- who knew I was married to a chocolatier :-) )  After trying the chocolate, he too agreed that it was rich and creamy, and tasted like it was just made.  Then, he flashed me his puppy dog eyes, hinting that he wanted another piece.  How could I say no -- so, I handed him another.  As we sat on the couch enjoying these treats, we began to reminisce about bringing both our girls home and how they are growing up so fast.  Who knew that chocolate could not only taste good, but could also be a conversation starter.  This is what you get when you order the Baby Gift Box from Martine's Chocolates.
