I was first introduced to Sundae Spa, a kid-friendly interactive spa located in Waterbury, CT, back in 2009 when they attended the Greater Hartford Women's Conference, and then again when we saw them at the CoCo Keys Indoor Water Resort. And, since they opened in 2010, I have been to their Waterbury location on a few occasions, to buy products to give as gifts, as well as attend a birthday party for one of my girlfriend's daughters. What an amazing place the Sundae Spa is, for girls and boys (and moms!). I can't wait until Savannah and Arabella get a little older, so that I can take them there and have them make their own bath products, body sprays and nail polishes. And, I love how Sundae Spa puts on their birthday parties.
Any young girl will feel like a princess in this fun and whimsical setting, making beauty and skin care products with their close friends. Her party will definitely be the talk of the group for weeks to come. And, I bet that once you and your child attend a party here, you will want to book one for your child.
The ladies at the Sundae Spa recently sent me a few products samples to review in the privacy of my home. At first, I didn't want to use any of them, as they looked so cute and would make for great display pieces in the bathroom. But, I knew I had to share with you all how wonderful these products are, so I ended up having a mommy and me date with Savannah last week. While Daddy took Arabella to visit his mother, I had breakfast with Savannah, followed by a fun bath, where I used the fizzy bath cake, as well as the soap pop, molded to look like a popsicle with Savannah. She went crazy when I dropped the bath cake into the tub, and it began fizzing and foaming, while letting off a sweet fragrance, and leaving behind residual soap to wash with. After splashing around a bit, I surprised her with soap pop. She smiled, as I lathered her up using this fun-shaped soap. When Savannah was done with her bath, I sprayed on some of the body spray and let her put on the lip balm that was included with the samples. Don't tell Savannah, but I ended up using the whipped body scrub for myself. I couldn't believe how soft it got my dry winter skin. And, the fragrance didn't irritate my sensitive skin -- it left a mild, sweet scent that was pleasant and not overpowering.
Overall, I enjoyed having a mommy and me day with Savannah, where we brushed each others hair, pampered ourselves with the bath and body products from Sundae Spa, and just spent quality time together, thanks in part to the ladies at Sundae Spa.
