------------My Thoughts:I remember one of the first cartoons Savannah took to was Bob the Builder. At first, I didn't think she would like this cartoon, as it primarily a show enjoyed by little boys. But, after hearing the catchy theme song, and seeing the cute characters, I can see why she likes it. I have watched a few episodes with Savannah on occasion, and find myself rooting on the construction vehicles as they help Bob with projects, all while sharing with the young viewers the importance of team work and following directions. So, when I was sent this recent Bob the Builder: Here to Help DVD release, I couldn't wait to see what Savannah thought of it.She ended up watching the entire DVD, which was 55 minutes in length, in one sitting with her Papa. I could hear her dancing and talking to Bob and friends, while my father watched on. When the DVD was over, she came running into the kitchen saying, "Bob, Bob, Bob!" My dad followed, and surprised me by saying that this DVD and cartoon series was enjoyable to watch. He said Savannah couldn't take her eyes of the screen once the DVD began, and danced and smiled as the vehicles and Bob worked together to complete construction jobs. My father loved how each of the five cartoons taught the importance of teamwork in a way and entertaining way. I think Bob the Builder has a new fan, in addition to my daughter -- my dad/Papa.If you have a Bob the Builder fan in your house, or are looking for DVDs to share with your children about teamwork, then this is a must have DVD. And, with Easter around the corner, it would make for a great gift.Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this DVD from the vendor in order to write up an honest review. The views above are mine and mine alone.
