How to use LIBRE TEA GLASSES:

1. Remove lid and tea filter, add 2-3 grams of loose- leaf tea to the glass.

 

      2.  Replace filter, add hot water and allow the tea to steep.

 3.  Twist off the filter and lid together.  Then, enjoy!

USE CAUTION WITH BOILING WATER — ALLOW COOLING TIME FOR STEAM TO DISSIPATE PRIOR TO TWISTING ON LID – STEAM PRESSURE MAY CAUSE LEAKS.

My Thoughts:


If you just read my previous post on Good Earth teas, then you know that I love tea.  My preference for teas is usually loose leaf over the tea bags.  But, with two young children at home, I don't have the luxury or time to fill a tea ball with leaves, let steep and then enjoy a cup of tea.  Nowadays, I find that I am reheating my cup of tea in the microwave due to it getting cold -- after getting sidetracked with the girls.  And, because of this delay in drinking, either the tea is too strong from steeping too long, or the loose tea falls into the cup, preventing me from drinking it.  


But, now thanks to the Libre Tea Original Loose Leaf Tea Cup, I can make a cup of tea with my favorite loose leaf teas and bring it along with me on the go, or I can enjoy a fresh cup in minutes.  In the same amount of time it would take for me to boil water and steep an already prepared tea bag, I can now make a fresh cup of tea with loose tea.  And, clean up is a breeze.  If I don't choose to reuse the loose leaf tea for a second cup, I simply dump into the trash and wash out the pieces to the Libre Tea glass.  Don't worry -- all the pieces screw together, so you will not be spending extra time trying to figure out where or how the filter fits in, etc.


I have had the Libre Tea Original for about a week now, and have found myself using it to prepare tea on the go, when I am taking Savannah to her reading group, or in the house in the AM, when my husband is boiling water for his coffee.  What a great tea gadget this loose leaf tea infuser is.  Now, I don't have to sacrifice my love of a fresh cup of my favorite loose leaf tea blend because I don't have the time to prepare and filter out.  


I am so excited, as Mother's Day is right around the corner.  Now, I have a great gift idea to give my mom, who loves teas.  She never has luck with the tea balls, as they somehow always open while she is steeping a hot cup of tea -- so, she ends up frustrated and tossing her tea down the sink.  When she was over this past weekend, I showed her this loose leaf tea glass, and how to use it, and she fell in love.  On Sunday, I found her making her own cup of tea, and finally being able to enjoy it!
