My Thoughts:

Are you a fan of the Penguins cartoon on Nick?  If so, you will love this compilation DVD, which contains shorts from the animated series.  What I loved best about this DVD is that the shorts are about 20 minutes in length, which is great for my daughter, who has a short attention span.  She couldn't stop dancing along to the musical numbers and clapping and laughing, as she watched the Penguins get into trouble and face off against Dr. Blowhole, voiced by Neil Patrick Harris.

If you are expecting this DVD to be like the Dreamworks movies, you will be disappointed.  But, if you love the Nick cartoons of this series, then you will be watching this DVD over and over again, like my daughter has.  Just today, she had me play it twice, so she could show her Papa her favorite musical numbers.

So, with Valentine's Day around the corner, why not consider picking up this DVD and share with your children.  It would make for a great rainy day activity or family movie night flick.
