My Thoughts:
If you have been following my blog for some time, then you know that my daughter, Savannah, is a huge Thomas the Tank fan. She went crazy last year when we took her to Day of with Thomas at Edaville Railroad. And, every time Thomas and Friends comes on the television, she drops everything she is doing, just to dance along to the theme song, and then sit there contently, while watching Thomas on television. Savannah enjoys watching to see what Thomas and his friends will be pulling on their flatbeds, through the island of Sodoh. Thomas always gets into mischief, as he usually doesn't listen or stay around to hear the full instructions on his deliveries. But, I think this is what children love to see -- as they watch Thomas get into a bind, but with the help of his friends, things always turn out fine.
In Curious Cargo, Thomas and his friends are given the task to deliver some exotic animals, including a long-necked giraffe. Through their assigned deliveries, Thomas and his friends learn some important lessons like the importance of listening to others, how to take care of animals and be gentle with them, as well as determination, and never giving up.
