Babies move. Traditional baby monitors donʼt.
Unlike stationary monitors, the iBaby camera lens follows
your little one with a quick up/down, left/right swipe of your iPod
touch, iPhone, iPad or click of your PC mouse. If baby moves out of the
camera eye, easily reposition the iBaby monitor from anywhere your
mobile device or PC can connect. Enjoy peace of mind knowing that your
babyʼs movement or cry activates an alert to you, while 2-way audio
capability carries your soothing voice when itʼs needed most, wherever
you happen to be. Infrared night vision lets you keep a watchful eye
without disturbing babyʼs sleep, and you can take unlimited pictures
using your iOS deviceʼs existing camera.
iBaby lifestyle
Whether youʼre at work, the gym, on a business trip or
running errands, seeing and hearing your baby is now as easy as swiping
your iOS touchscreen or clicking your PC mouse. Up to 4 users in
different locations share a single iBaby monitor, so relatives and
friends can simultaneously watch, hear, speak to and sing with baby
during birthdays, milestone events (such as first steps) or anytime.
Even when you canʼt be there in person, you can still share the moment
and capture it in photos.

My Thoughts:
Since having Savannah last July, we have gone through 4 baby monitors. Being new parents, we started with the low end monitors, only to be disappointed with the sound quality. One monitor in particular would interfere so much with the telephone, that we were hearing conversations through the baby monitor, instead of listening for Savannah's cries. As a result, we shopped around, did our research and bought a monitor that received high ratings, and which cost over $150, only to be disappointed again, as it broke within 3 months of daily use. And, on top of that, it received rave reviews for the picture quality, but to us, it was nothing to write home about, as you couldn't make out the baby in the black and white mode, when in the dark. The night light was the only thing we could make out. So, when we found out we were expecting baby #2 in November of this year, we knew the one thing we had to buy was another baby monitor.
We began researching again, but couldn't find a monitor that met our standards and price point. That was, until I was sent the iBaby Monitor to review. Wow! I couldn't believe we spent all that money before on poor quality baby monitors. The iBaby Monitor is top of the line, and will only retail for $199.00, when it becomes available in 2012. The iBaby Monitor by iBaby Labs is not only a sleek baby monitor, but it is packed
with features other baby monitor on the market don't have. And, seeing that are lives revolve around technology, it is great to be able to control this baby monitor with your PC, iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. How cool is that, huh? As soon as I received the baby monitor to review, my husband couldn't wait to hook it up and see the picture quality on our PC and iPad.
In regards to features, you can rotate the camera via a remote control, in addition to having it automatically rotate by sensing movement of you baby. Now that is
impressive! That is not all. The iBaby Monitor can alert you when the
baby moves or cry. Also, it has night vision mode, so you keep an eye
on your little one at all times, day or night (dark or lit room). Parents love having peace of mind when it comes to monitoring their baby's while they sleep, and you get this right at your fingertips, with the iBaby Monitor by iBaby Labs. You are wondering the clarity of the picture, right? Well, I wish you could see it up close, as it is truly amazing. It puts all the other baby monitors we have owned and looked at to shame. The clarity of the video is another plus, as is the resolution. Unlike other baby monitors, you can take pictures and share them with friends and
family, with the iBaby Monitor. Please click here to visit website for more detailed information on specifications.
Setup of was easy. With the easy to read instructions, you will have this baby monitor up and running in under 20 minutes. However, I had issues in the beginning as it was not configuring right to my PC. For some reason, it wasn't recognizing my network. After a few tries by my husband, who is in IT, we ended having to email customer support. Another, wow! The technical support staff responded to my email in a timely manner, with the representative walking me through the setup, until we finally were able to get the monitor to work. We found out it was a user error on our part (due in part by sleep deprivation, possibly =) ). A couple days later the same representative emailed to check in to see if the monitor was still working, or giving us problems. Now, tell me a customer service representative you have worked with lately that would take the time to follow up. I can't think of anyone.
Since welcoming Arabella in November, we have been putting this baby monitor to use. With the two girls sharing the nursery, we are able to keep an eye on both of them. I love snapping photos of them while they sleep to send to my husband. And, just the other night, I caught my oldest daughter, Savannah, humming our little one to sleep. Now, how cute is that? So, if you are in the market for a new baby monitor, or are looking for the perfect baby shower gift, I highly recommend the iBaby Monitor. You will not be disappointed!
Disclosure: I
was sent a sample from the vendor in order to write up an honest
review. The views above are mine and mine alone.
