    My Thoughts:

I remember reading this book years ago when I babysat our neighbor’s children.  Every holiday their mother would pull out their holiday storybooks, and this was always a family favorite.  So, when I read that they would be releasing a movie by the same title on DVD, I had to see it for myself, as I just loved the book.

Yesterday, I received a copy of this DVD in the mail and ended up watching it last night after dinner with Savannah.  If the movie was anything like the colorful and cute DVD cover image, we would be in for a treat.  And, we were not disappointed.  Once the movie began and we were introduced to the little boy angel, my daughter started grinning ear to ear.  He was so cute and loveable.  The movie followed suit with the book, so don’t expect a difference between the two.  The premise of the book/DVD is that this little angel is trying to get his angel wings, but he keeps acting up and getting in trouble.  You can’t help but laugh and smile at his mischievous ways, as he is just so darn cute.  But, in the end, there is a happy ending, and he does get his wings.  My daughter clapped her hands with excitement at this part in the movie.  So, I can tell that she enjoyed the movie.  And, today, she has been walking around the house carrying the empty DVD case, saying “Angel.”

We will definitely be watching this movie again soon, and will make sure to add it to our collection of movies we watch to prepare for the holidays.   If you are looking for a cute movie to watch with you children, why not consider picking up a copy of The Littlest Angel today.  I bet you it will become a family favorite of yours as well.

Disclosure:  I was sent a copy of this DVD from Anchor Bay in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
