My Thoughts:
My family is a fan of the LeapFrog brand, and this can be seen when you walk into our house and see all the LeapFrog toys and plush animals all around the house. Savannah just loves her talking Violet and Scout dolls. Because she loves to dance along to their songs when she pushes their buttons, I find myself humming or singing their songs in the shower and when we are driving.
Every single LeapFrog educational toy that we own gets played with on a weekly basis, and as Savannah gets older and is learning new things, she finds interacting with each toy every so much more fun. I especially love the fridge toys, where she learns about the alphabet and each letter’s sounds, etc.
So, when I was sent copies of the these two new DVD releases from the LeapFrog brand, I couldn’t wait to watch them with Savannah. I especially loved the LeapFrog: Phonics Farm DVD, which introduces the 26 letters of the alphabet along with the most common sounds those letters make enabling kids to link letters with their respective sounds. And, this DVD came in handy as a learning tool, as I have been working with Savannah daily on learning the alphabet and practicing new words, as her vocabulary is growing.
Both of these DVDs offer bright and colorful attention-keeping shows that will keep even the youngest of children entertained. I couldn’t get Savannah to stop dancing and babbling. And, every morning when she got up, she would point to her Violet or Scout toys and the television, letting me know she wanted to watch more.
These DVDs would make for a great learning tool and fun gift for your young child this holiday season. Why not make learning fun with the of LeapFrog’s educational DVDs?
