National
Geographic Challenge! provides an inside view at the extraordinary
extent of mankind's achievements through amazing high-definition footage. Up to
four players can compete in the quest to claim territories on the in-game globe
by answering questions correctly while using various tactics to foil their
opponents.
Players exploring the world on the Xbox 360 and PS3TM
can enjoy approximately an hour of HD video straight from National Geographic's
award-winning video crews. Additionally, Xbox 360 and Wii users will enjoy
avatar support, while PS3TM users will be able to take advantage of
the game's full PlayStation®Move capabilities!
My Thoughts:
Does your family love trivia and competition games? Well,
thanks to UTV Ignition Games, they have recently released National Geographic Challenge! for Wii,
XBox 360 and PS3, which will provide hours of fun through this jam packed
family-friendly quiz game for players of all ages. In addition to competing
against your family members, player will enjoy actual footage that has been seen
on Nat Geo, as well as learn and explore our planet, through history and
geography. Even if geography and history are not your strong suits, you will
enjoy playing this game in both single and multi-player mode.
When my parents come to help out yesterday, after we brought
Arabella home from the hospital, we decided to try out the multi-player mode of
this game, as I had only been playing the single player mode. In my opinion,
this game is best played with more than one player, as it is more enjoyable and
challenging. In regards to the graphics, I wished for more detailed graphics,
but was pleased that they used actual footage seen on Nat Geo. And, being
family-friendly, this game is appropriate for all ages, so it makes for a great
rainy day or weekend activity to do together as a family.
And, with the holidays and snow days right around the corner,
why not pick up this game today, and turn a boring afternoon into a fun and
educational one, with the help of National Geographic Challenge!
Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this game from the
vendor in order to write up an honest review. The views above are mine and mine
alone.
