With our second daughter only days away from arriving, I can't wait to try out the ZCush Baby Nap Mat with her.  

What is the ZCush Nap Mat you ask?  

Formerly known as the zCush Infant Support Mat, the zCush Baby Nap Mat is a lightweight, cushiony mat designed to place a newborn for comfort & security. 

Product Description:

The zCush Baby Nap Mat includes a base  mat with polyester filling and cotton shell which has a pocket to lay your baby in securely. It measures approximately 17"” x 27" ”x 1"”.  Mat and covers are 100% machine-washable.

There are 11 different Mats to choose from between cottons, chenilles & velvets available in assorted colors and styles.

My Thoughts:

Even though we are still waiting on Arabella Sofia to arrive, I have had the opportunity to try out the ZCush Nap Mat with a few friends who recently had babies.  In addition, I let them borrow the ZCush to try it out for themselves and let me know their thoughts.  Everyone who used the ZCush Nap Mat couldn't stop raving about it, and how it was a great invention.  Grandparents I spoke with wondered where this product was years ago.  What I loved most about this product was how well it was made, and that with one product, it offered those who usually would shy away from snuggling with a new baby (grandparents who have arthritis in their hands or are afraid to drop a newborn, to young children who want to hold their little brothers or sisters, but parents are afraid that they will not support the head and body properly.  Now, everyone can enjoy the new arrival, and new parents will feel comfortable passing baby around.  

Another wonderful feature that moms who tried the ZCush raved about was how it is so compact, that you can simply roll it up and place in the plastic case it comes in and bring along when visiting family and friends with your new bundle of joy.  Once you arrive, simply unzip and unroll the ZCush and place baby securely inside for comfort and support. Each ZCush is made exceptionally well, and machine washable.  It will definitely keep your little one warm during the winter months.  And, with the built-in pocket, it makes changing a baby so much easier on those cold days, and cuts down on the water works that usually accompany a draft or little man exposed to the air.

Having recently used the ZCush when a friend had us watch her new baby, I found it was a great product to use for naps and feeding.  Newborns love to be swaddled or feel cozy, and the ZCush offers this comforting feeling.  I found that the baby took to their bottle easier when placed inside the ZCush, and before the bottle was done, the little one was fast asleep.  So, I simply had to place the nap mat with baby inside in our moses basket, and she enjoyed a peaceful nap.

Like I said above, I can't wait to try out the ZCush with our new arrival, and see how easier feeding, changing and just boding with baby will be with this great product.  And, we will feel more comfortable having our daughter, Savannah, sit next to us on the couch and hold her little sister.
