This past year, I have spotlighted some amazing mom entrepreneurs in my Spotlight on Mommy Monday posts. If you missed some of them, click here to see the entire list of amazing women/moms and read their inspiring stories.
Today, I wanted to revisit two mom entrepreneurs whose stories stood out to me, and whose products I have been using and finding that I can’t live without them. And, both of their products would make for great holiday gifts for a new mom or moms with young babies/toddlers. The two products and moms I am referencing are:
Stacy Harfert (Click here to read her Spotlight on Mommy post), creator of the Bobee diaper changing station and Rebecca Rabson (Click here to see her Spotlight on Mommy Post), creator of the SmartSeat Chair Protector. Because my two daughters are close in age -- Savannah is 16 months and Arabella will be 2 weeks old tomorrow, I have had the opportunity to continually use both of these women's products since I received them this past year.
To start, I installed Stacy's Bobee Changing Station (Click here to read my Feature Friday Review) in the nursery above the changing station. Since installing, I have freed up more space on the table, and it has also made the diaper changing process so much easier, as I don't have to fumble for a diaper or wipes, or worry about either falling on the floor.
Now that Savannah is getting bigger, she likes to kick things off the changing table, so by having her diapers and wipes stored in the Bobee changing station, I don't have to worry about picking up diapers off the floor, and the diaper changing is not stalled, like it was prior to receiving the changing station.
With two children in diapers, my only wish is that this changing station would have 2 slots for different sized diapers. But, I can't complain, as it has truly been a space saver, allowing me to now have Arabella's diapers on the table.
In regards to Rebecca's SmartSeat Chair Protector (Click here to read my Feature Friday review), how this has helped greatly, now that Savannah is eating people food and learning how to feed herself with utensils.
When I first received this chair protector, we were just introducing Savannah to more solid type baby food, which usually ended up on the upolstered dining room chair and floor. I don't know how many weekends I spent scrubbing her chair to try and remove the baby food stains. I tell you, I don't know what they put in the baby food to make it stain! But, thanks to Rebecca's invention, my once dirty dining room chair (which I had to have professionally cleaned) now stays stain-free, thanks to the SmartSeat Chair Protector.
What is so great about this chair protector is that it is easy to install and can be removed and taken to the grandparents house, etc. Also, Rebecca offers a variety of colors, so you are bound to find a chair protector that will go with your decor or seat patterns. These chair protectors are great for use with babies/toddlers, as well as to have on the seats year round to protect your furniture.
Gone are the days of the plastic or vinyl chair protectors -- thanks in part to Rebecca and her SmartSeat Chair Protectors.
Both women have kindly offered their product as a giveaway as part of my holiday gift giving guide. So, what I thought I would do is offer them together for one lucky reader to win. Keep both for yourself, or give one item away as a gift. Like I said, they have been lifesavers in my house with two babies, and know that they will come in handy for a new mom, or mom of young children.
Please help support these two mom entrepreneurs, as well as all the other moms I spotlighted this year, by shopping their online stores this holiday season.
