Naked Juice (Product Review)

I was recently sent 3 bottles of Naked Juice to try -- Mango Veggie, Reduced Calorie Citrus Lemongrass and Reduced Calorie Lychee.  Below is more information on each drink, as well as my overall opinion of Naked Juice, after having sampled each of the beverages sent to me.

Introducing Mango Veggie, a hearty new fruit and veggie juice smoothie made with a sweet squeeze of this and a tart balance of that. It adds up to two servings of vegetables and one serving of fruit, including Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamins B3, B5, B6 and B12, a good source of potassium. Humbly, we think veggies never tasted this good.

Overall Opinion:

At first glance, I thought that each of these products was just like all the other fruit juice smoothies out there -- a typical, heavy smoothie-type drink, with lots of added sugars.  But, after sampling each, I found this not to be true with Naked Juice products.  I love the wide selection of flavors available, and the fact that they offer reduced calorie or no sugar added is a plus for those with health or dietary concerns, or just wanting to watch their waistline.  Usually reduced calorie or no sugar added products are either bland or have a funny taste, but these had a nice sweetness to them, which was unexpected.  Having never had lychee, I had no idea how it would taste or if I would even like it.  Wow, was this drink tasty.  I don't think I would have tried lychee if it wasn't in a drink like.  Hats off to Naked Juice for creating a juice line with wild and exotic fruits that many consumers have never thought to pair together or have tried on their own.  It was a great way to experiment with new flavors that are good for you.

Hands down, my favorite of the three drinks was the reduced calorie citrus lemongrass drink.  It had just the right amount of sourness, along with a minty flavor.  And, it was well balanced with apple juice, providing just the right amount of freshness.  Very refreshing!!!
