There are currently 4 books in this series for young Tony Hawk fans, with new titles being added in January 2012. I was sent each of the books to read and review.  Young skateboarding fans, including both boy and girls will go crazy over this new action-packed series. Out of all the books sent my way, I have to say my favorite was Volume 2: Impulse.  This story carried a positive message for tweens and teens -- you have to trust those around you because you can't do everything on your own. With this grahpic novel and others in the 900 Revolution series, each section break up the text,, so even the most reluctant or easily distracted reader will stay engaged from beginning to end.  Just look at the graphic insert above that I shared.  What child would not love to view this type of insert?  I am not going to do an in-depth review of each of the books sent, as they are all similiar in nature.  Each shares a positive message for tweens and teens, and will get any skateboarding fan excited about reading.  I ended up sharing this collection with a friend's 10 year old, so doesn't like to read.  His mom told me, he couldn't put the books down.  He ended up reading them cover to cover in a week, and is eagerly awaiting new volumes coming soon.  So, if this young man can fall in love with reading, so can your child.  Why not give Tony Hawk's 900 Revolution graphic novel series a try with your child today?
