My Thoughts:
I was sent a sampling of Pretzel Crisps® to try out. Usually, I am not a huge pretzel fan, but I was excited to try out this product as it is marketed as a spreadable pretzel cracker, and I love crackers. Upon arrival, I couldn't get over the assortment of flavors available. I began my sampling journey with the Original Deli Style Pretzel Crisps®. First, I ate a few of these crisps by themselves, and then I ended up dipping them in melted cheese. I loved how they were thin enough to sop up a lot of melted cheese, and if need be, I was able to spread the cheese on the crisps without the cheese falling off. The combination of the pretzel and melted cheese went together so well. I felt like I was at a local agricultural fair enjoying a pretzel with cheese.
After this positive experience, I couldn't wait to dive into the other Pretzel Crisps® bags and see how each of the flavors tasted alone and paired with dips. These Pretzel Crisps® came at a great time, as I was having a girls night in to celebrate recent and upcoming births of our children, and was able to offer up a sampling of each chip for the moms to try. They had never heard of Pretzel Crisps®, so it was a great way to introduce them to a great tasting, healthy snack that they could offer their families, and not feel guilty adding to their child's lunchbox as a snack. Each mom seemed to have their own favorite chip and way of eating them. Some liked them right out of the bag, while others used dips I set out and spoke of other ways they would enjoy the crisps. For example, one mom said that they would create a sort of Chex Mix with the different flavors and offer it up as holiday appetizer. What a great idea! Overall, Pretzel Crisps® received rave reviews not only from me, but my friends, who are tough consumers, always looking for healthy snacks. We will definitely be heading to our local grocery store to pick up more of our favorite flavored Pretzel Crisps®. And, with the holidays around the corner, I have a new alternative to the plain tortilla chip for dipping. Thanks, Pretzel Crisps®!!!!
