Kicking Horse Coffee -- Product Review and Giveaway

I was recently sent of sample Kiss Ass coffee from Kicking Horse Coffee to sample and write up a review on.

It is important to store your coffee properly to keep it fresh. Keep at room temperature, sealed in an air-tight container. Avoid plastic containers as your coffee's flavor may be compromised. Expect to use your coffee beans within a 1 week to 2 week period.

My Thoughts:

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to sample this coffee myself, as I had to give up coffee while pregnant with our second daughter, so I enlisted my husband as a taste tester.  He couldn't refuse, as he loves a good, strong cup of coffee in the AM to help wake him up and get him ready for his commute to work.  I was happy when I received the can of Kick Ass coffee and noticed that it was whole bean, as my husband and I love to grind our own coffee.  It gives the coffee a fresher taste when you know you have just ground coffee beans for a fresh cup of coffee in the AM.  So, for the past week, my husband has been drinking this coffee, and can't stop raving about the smooth and bold taste of the coffee.  Usually, he prefers other brands like Starbucks and Pete's Coffee, but he says he has found a new favorite brand, Kicking Horse Coffee.  The Kick Ass coffee holds true to its name in its bold flavor, body and aroma.  I was dying smelling the coffee as it dripped from the coffee maker.  Oh, how I wish I could try just a sip.  But, in a few short weeks, I will definitely be having a cup of Kiss Ass coffee, as well as ordering some of their other coffee products, including 454 Horse Power (another dark coffee) and Three Sisters (Medium).  And, I know what I will be getting my husband this holiday season -- Kicking Horse Coffee!!
