Caribbean Passion has long been a best-selling smoothie at Jamba Juice stores. It’s now available as an “at home” option, joining the existing blend-at-home line that includes favorites such as Razzmatazz^®, Mango-a-Go-Go^® and Strawberries Wild^®. All four flavors retail for $2.99 – $3.49 per eight-ounce bag. Each bag, found in the frozen fruit section of the grocery store, blends together with apple juice to make two, eight-ounce servings.

My Thoughts:  

I was sent samples of the new Caribbean Passion and the Strawberries Wild Smoothies to try out.  This evening, both my husband and I made ourselves these two flavored smoothies and did a taste test.  Even though the mix says it feeds 2 people, I would recommend picking up 2 pouches if you plan to share, as I was able to pour the smoothie in a 16 oz. glass, and my husband thought it was one serving.  I am always a fan of strawberry banana smoothies, so I leaned more towards this flavor from Jamba, while my husband liked the Caribbean Passion flavor, and usually buys this flavor at the local Jamba Juice store.  Having been fans of Jamba Juice for years for their all natural smoothies, not only are they natural with real with fruit and yogurt, but they are also delicious.    While drinking the Caribbean Passion smoothie, he said he could taste the tropical blend of mango, peach, strawberries and passion fruit.  It reminded him of sitting on a beach enjoying the summer weather, and sipping on a refreshing smoothie.  

Nutritionally, each packet of Jamba smoothie mix makes two, eight-ounce serving, each containing one full serving of fruit and 100% daily value of Vitamin C.  Included in the frozen mix is real fruit, non-fat yogurt and a boost of antioxidant Vitamin C.  There are no high fructose corn syrup, trans fat, artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives added -- so, you know you are only getting a healthy and natural product with Jamba.  And, best of all, Jamba smoothies are fat free and only contain 120 calories or less per eight-ounce serving (when prepared as directed).
