Have you ever heard about HomeFree Cookies? I hadn't until I stumbled across their website looking for healthy treats that are also great for people with food allergies. I reached out to them and they graciously sent me samples of their soft cookies to try out, which included their chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal cookies. I have tried other gluten-free, nut-free cookies that were intended for people with food allergies and didn't care for the taste. But, as soon as I bit into a HomeFree chocolate chip cookie, it really tasted like a chocolate chip cookie. And, you couldn't tell it was made especially for those with sensitivities and food allergies, and is intended to be good for you. I especially loved how they were so soft, that they felt like they had just come out of the oven or were freshly baked. The next day, I tried another cookie to see if it kept its freshness and softness, and it did!
Over the weekend, I had a few friends over, and one had a child with a nut allergy. It was great knowing I had a treat that he could enjoy, and his mom didn't have to worry about giving him. If you or someone you know has a food sensitivity or allergy and are looking for sweet treats to enjoy this upcoming holiday season, why not check out the HomeFree product line. I will definitely be stocking up on these cookies, so I have them on hand to offer family and friends.
