Everything Tastes Better with Bacon Thanks to the New Store, Baconery in NY

I thought I would start Monday morning off with getting your taste buds watering for bacon and baked goods.  What, you think I am crazy and that these two things don't go together?  Well, I guess you haven't tried tried the baked goods from the new online store, Baconery, based out of NY.  I was recently sent samples of these delectable treats to try for myself.  I have to say, at first I was skeptical at how Wesley Klein, the brainchild behind this concept and store, would incorporate bacon (something salty) with a baked good item like bread or cookies (something sweet) and make them work.  But, he does!!! And, the products he turns out are amazing!!!!

Like I said, I was sent a sampling of his new product line, which included bacon chocolate pretzel rods, chocolate peanut butter bacon cookies, chocolate bacon cookies and bacon brownies.  When I showed my husband, who is a big bacon and baked goods fan, he looked at me funny.  At first he didn't want to help try out the samples, but after he saw me sample a piece of the brownie with delight, he gave it a shot.  And, within minutes, the samples were gone, and the only thing that was left were empty wrappers and two happy bellies.  By far, my favorite treat was the bacon brownie, while my husband devoured in seconds the chocolate bacon cookie.

If you are a fan of bacon and baked goods, but have never experienced them together, you definitely need to head on over to Baconery today and see the selection of baked goods, which incorporate both sweet and salty perfectly.  And, with the holidays around the corner, a gift from the Baconery would be great for foodies and those hard-to-shop for people.  Or, why not pick some up and add to the dessert table this Thanksgiving?  It will surely be a conversation starter!

About Wesely Klein , Owner of the Baconery:

Bacon meets Bakery. Their love child: Baconery.

My name is Wesley Klein and I'm a breakfast and dessert kind of guy. One day I was at breakfast and I used my thick-cut bacon to sop up the last remaining drops of maple syrup from my plate and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I eat breakfast for the delicious salty goodness of the bacon. I love dessert for the sugary experience of warm chocolate chip cookies, brownies, syrup on french toast, and more. It only made sense to marry the two together so the world could enjoy it's long-awaited fantasy.

Like a mad scientist, I spent months in the kitchen with breakfast chefs, pastry chefs, and more, until we stumbled upon the exact formula for infusing these two ingredients into the perfect culinary combination. Let's just say it was an orgasmic explosion of bacon, chocolate, nuts, fruits, and any other ingredient we thought fit to combine. We birthed the "BACONERY."

So, I set out on a mission. I assembled the best "baconery" chefs I could find. I purchased the finest ingredients I could buy in order to re-define the bakery experience and bring you something you've never seen before.

It's coming and it will BLOW YOUR MIND! It'll launch your taste buds into the stratosphere. Your taste palette will never be the same again.

Disclosure:  I was sent samples in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
