Campbell's Select Harvest Soups -- Product Review and Giveaway

I have been a lover of soups since I was a little girl.  And, when winter comes around, I enjoy going to restaurants and cafes and sampling different versions of classics like chicken noodle, minestone and tomato.  So, when Campbell's asked if I wanted to try their Select Harvest soups, how could I say, "No."  They sent me 4 of their 35 Campbell's Select Harvest soups to try out, and within 3 days I had tried them all.  I used the excuse of a cold night here in CT the other day for my reasoning of eating soup for lunch and dinner.  But, in actuality, I just couldn't decide that day which flavor to eat, so I decided to eat both. :-)

Out of the 4 Campbell's Select Harvest soups sent to me (Creole-Style Chicken with Red Beans and Rice, Southwest-Style White Chicken Chili, Southwest-Style Potato, Cheese and Green Chiles and Light New England-Style Braised Beef Pot Roast), I have to say my favorites were the Creole-Style Chicken with Red Beans and Rice and the Light New England-Style Braised Beef Pot Roast.  Even though all 4 tasted liked homemade soup that had been carefully prepared and cooking for hours, the flavors just popped with the Creole Chicken and Pot Roast soups.  I loved how each soup contained real meat and poultry, not like other soups where you don't know what you are actually eating, as it doesn't look or taste like chicken, etc.  With the Creole-Style Chicken with Red Beans and Rice soup, I loved how the soup was filled with beans and rice.  With every spoonful, your pallette was greeted with a pleasantly spicy kick, followed by the delicious taste from the soft red beans and rice.

I have been a Campbell's soup fan since I was little and my mother would serve it to me when I was sick or needed to be warmed up.  It is nice to see a brand like Campbell's still going strong, and adding new soup selections.  I can't wait to head to the market to buy and try some of the other Campbell's Select Harvest soups, and with winter around the corner, what better excuse to stock up. :-)
