Product Review and Giveaway: Happy Goats Soap

I recently stumbled across Happy Goats Soap and had to try out this soap for myself.  Patty, the owner of Happy Goats Soap, an Etsy shop, kindly sent me two samples to try out.  She sent me lavender, which I have been using myself in the shower, and vanilla hazelnut, which I have put out in the guest bathroom.  Even though trying to find 10 minutes to shower with a toddler at home is hard to do each day, I have been looking forward to this "me-time" when Savannah takes her late morning nap, as I know I will be able to use and enjoy this soap from Happy Goats Soap.  Being a fan of handmade products, I have tried various goats soap over the years, but, I have to say, this soap is by far the best I have tried.  It doesn't leave a filmy or greasy feeling like some soaps have in the past.  The soap does what it is supposed to -- it cleans, while leaving a subtle fragrance on your skin.  And, with sensitive skin, I didn't have any issues with reaction to the scent added to the soap.  In years past, I either broke out or was left with itchy skin after using other homemade goats soap.

Happy Goats Soap comes in a variety of scents and molds.  Just check out some of the molds you can choose from:  Cats, dogs, cows, horses, deer, penguins, chicks, roosters, urchins, hearts, herds and flocks and guinea pigs.  In addition, you this soap also comes as massage bars and shaving soaps.

Who is Pricilla?:

Pricilla is the Famous SpokesGoat for the Happy Goat Farm. She runs the place, we humans just bow to her wishes. She is retired from being milked now but her daughters Abby and Sarah and her granddaughter Nora are providing the rich milk for the soap.

All bars are made in small batches using the cold process method. They are not perfect like you find in the stores, but they are full of good stuff! Be sure to let your soap drain and air dry between uses and it will last longer. The bar weighs between 3.5 and 4oz. All bars come simply packaged in a biodegradable bag. Pricilla is an earth friendly goat.
