Summary:

My Review:

I can't stop raving about this book to my girlfriends with little fashionistas of their own.  Even though Savannah is too young to relate to the story, she still loves to play dress up.  I am amazed at the 3 closets full of clothes she has, and the number of shoes she has already acquired at 14 months old.  I can only image how she will be when she gets a little bit older.  In regards to this book, I love how the author, inspired by her own daughter, wrote about a young girl recycled her favorite dress.  As the young girl grew, she outgrew her favorite dress.  But, her mother turned this favorite item into various other clothing items that the little girl could wear and fall in love with. The illustrations fit perfectly with the story.  They really captured both mine and Savannah's attention, and we couldn't wait to turn the page and see what special creation the young girl's mother turned her favorite dress into.  

I can't wait until Savannah gets older to read this book to her, and have her appreciate this wonderful book.  If you have a young fashion diva, or daughter who loves to hang on to special mementos, then you should definitely pick up this book and share it with her today.  She will just love it!  In addition, she will learn about the changing seasons and days of the week.  So, she will learn while enjoying a delightful story.
