My Review:

After having read dozens of children's books with my daughter, Savannah, I find it refreshing to read a book geared towards adults.  Even though it has taken me a couple of months to read this book, as I found myself having to keep putting it down and getting sidetracked with other book reviews, I finally finished this book over the weekend.  Thank got I stuck with it, as it was a very enjoyable book.  I was also sent a copy of the DVD, which my husband and I watched prior to me reading this book.  What a very inspiring story and DVD this was.  And, what a great way to pay tribute and way to raise money for his brother, who has cerebal palsy.  You think you have it rough in life, but it is always humbling to see how others live, and how some take on extraordinary challenges to bring awareness to diseases and show that you can set goals and overcome obstacles if you put your mind and body to it.

If you are looking for an inspiring book to read this fall, I highly suggest you pick up A Walk for Sunshine and follow along as Jeff, with only the bare essentials sets off on a journey that will change his life forever, and show him how to live a simpler life as a result of his journey.
