It looks like today is a day about children's books that deal with dogs.  Come on...as a dog lover, how can I resist these types of books!

This children's book shares a day in the life with Getaway, a Yorkie.  She lives in CA with his 2 moms and 2 schnauzers.  With cute illustrations, children can read along as see what happens from the moment Getaway gets up at 3:30AM, to the time he goes to bed.  A fun and heartwarming story for any child or family that loves dogs.  I just love the interaction between Getaway and her two other dog siblings.  I enjoyed reading this book to my daughter at bedtime, with our three rescue dogs at our feet.

About the Author:

Getaway Hawayek Narbaitz lives in San Francisco, California with her 2 moms and 2 Schnauzers. She enjoys walks on the beach and prime rib bones twice the size of her body. After starting doggie day care, she decided to paw this book. This is her first novel.
