Recently, I had the opportunity to try out a set of TheraBreath products, including breath mints, mouthwash and toothpaste. I have to admit that when I first received the samples I was turned off by the appearance and labeling. It looked like a prescription dental product and not something I would see on a shelf at the store. And, because of this, it took me a while to try them out. I kept passing by them each time I went into the bathroom. But, this past week, I bit the bullet and tried out these products.
The first TheraBreath product I tried were the breath lozenges. I was a big fan of these mints, as it left an aftertaste that took a while to shake. Even though it left a bitter aftertaste, it surprisingly freshened my breath. I am not sure if I would buy this product on a continual basis, but for those with severe halitosis, this product might work wonders for you.
The next product was the TheraBreath toothpaste. This toothpaste was more tolerable. I could feel it freshening my breath, while I brushed. I followed up my brushing with a swish of the TheraBreath mouthwash. I wouldn't recommend using both in the time cleaning, as it left my mouth burning. I gave the TheraBreath mouthwash another try after lunch and was able to tolerate it when used alone. It did wonders in removing my garlicky breath, leaving my mouth feeling and smelly minty fresh.
Overall, I would highly recommend these products if you are looking to change up your current dental products or have trouble finding the perfect brand that will help with bad breath. Everyone's taste buds work differently, and what may have seemed strong and bitter to me, may not be for you.
