As some of you have read, my daughter, Savannah, just loves playing with her Daddy's iPad. I have a cool pillow protector created from a mom entrepreneur, I will be sharing with in 2 weeks, but wanted to share a few of Savannah's favorite apps with you now.
The following 3 apps are from KIBOOMU and recommended for children ages: 1-3,4-7 yrs. old. Kiboomu Publishing is a member of Moms with Apps, a collaborative group of family-friendly developers seeking to promote quality apps for kids and families.
The first app is the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Piano app -- Buy it for only $.99 today at the iTunes store.
Savannah just loves this app. She taps the screen when the keys light up, and we sing along to the song. This is a great learning tool, to introduce your children to music appreciation. Who knows, you may even have a piano player on your hands. You have the option of recording your child playing the song, or follow along, learning the appropriate keys to press. It is easy to use and will provide hours of enjoyment for your little ones. And, the music/song is not annoying, like some of the musical toys out there. So, you will not mind your child playing the song over and over again.
The second app, is the Old MacDonald Piano iPhone App -- Buy it now at half price, only $.99 at the iTunes store.
This app has been featured on Huffington Post, iPhone Life Magazine, Babble.com, iLounge, etc., so that let's you know that it is a great app to get for your children.
