It has been a few months since I have received and read "Chicken Soup for the Soul" books. So, I was excited this past Monday when I received this and another book in the popular inspirational series in the mail to read. And, like I do when I receive these wonderful books, I put away the computer for the night, grabbed a cozy blanket and hot cup of tea and had a quiet evening of just relaxing and reading a good book.
This book is perfect for moms, no matter their age, or the age of their children. As you know, once you have children, you daily schedules are thrown out the window and you have to learn to multi-task, make changes at the last minute and even find yourself baking cookies or cupcakes for a school class party you just found out about the day before. We have all been there, and so long as we are still here, our kids will be our worlds and we will also be connected to them, and there to help them out, no matter what.
You know how they say, "Moms can do it all"? Well, this book, which shared 101 inspirational stories will remind us of this. From juggling "kids, husbands, jobs, housework, and more, these 101 stories from other multitasking moms will inspire and amuse the woman who does it all! Filled with words of wisdom, lessons learned, funny moments and juggling success, this book will brighten any mother’s day."
Even though I am a relatively new mom to toddlers, I couldn't help but smile and laugh as I read some of the stories, while also finding myself relating to others. And, by the time I finished the last story, I found myself having to take a deep breath, as I was reminded that us moms really do it all...and we wonder why times fly and how we can get it all done (even if we have to finish a task the next day). Women are great multi-taskers, and this new book from the popular "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series will remind us of this, as we enjoy, laugh and smile along, while reading stories from other moms who "do it all" without hesitation or reason.
While Mother's Day has come and gone, this doesn't mean you can't pick up a copy of this book to share with your mom or that special mother figure in your life. I have since passed this book along to others moms in a meetup group, and they are loving it just as much as I did. So, why not put away the computer for the night and pick up a good book like this one, and enjoy great inspirational stories from other moms. I can't wait to hear what you think of it, and if you find yourself relating to many of the amusing stories.
Happy reading!
