"The first Pop Culture Expo (PCX) will be held at the Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington, MA, on Memorial Day Weekend 2014. PCX will feature all the favorites of comic cons and pop culture events like cosplay and costume contests (including our very own "Create-a-Superhero Contest"), video game competitions, celebrity guests and autographs, panels, screenings, animation and anime, plus 150 vendors of vintage and modern toys, comic books and other pop culture must-haves.
What sets us apart is how we're bringing you the content. Panel and screening seats will be reserved ahead of time, so no waiting in mobs of people only to realize the room is filled for your favorite panel. Many of our celebs will not only be doing photo ops, but video ops as well - meaning you get email bragging rights to share with your friends as you walk away from the booth. Like the VIP life? VIPs can manage their weekend's agenda online, scheduling panels and meals with celebs, and they won't wait more than 15 minutes in line for an autograph.
Since PCX isn't at a hotel, there will be a lot more room for cosplay, contests, vendors and general tomfoolery. There will also be activities at the Crowne Plaza in Woburn, our host hotel, all weekend before and after show hours for those interested in parties, adult costume contests, and VIP meal experiences with celebrities."
